Lahore: An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique to assess the progress of development projects in Constituency PP-153. The projects include the Harbanspura to Phatak Saddar Cantt trunk sewerage costing Rs 4.5 billion and tube wells in Amna Park of UC-148 at Rs 1.1 billion. These initiatives also encompass street repair, sewerage, and clean water supply.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting included Director LDA Haroon Saifi, Deputy Directors LDA Aqeel and Samiullah, Excion Wasa Salman Mirza, and other officers. Syed Ikhlas Shah, Zulfiqar Bhatti, Naeem Shahzad Bhatti, and Abdul Wahab also participated. Hundreds of streets have been repaired, and various development schemes are in progress to provide improved facilities to millions in the area. The Provincial Health Minister emphasized the government’s priority of solving public issues and maintaining transparent monitoring of these projects.
Khawaja Salman Rafique reiterated that timely completion of the projects is imperative, in line with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Providing basic facilities to the public remains a top priority for the Punjab government, with a focus on the quality of development projects. The projects are under continuous supervision to ensure no compromises are made.
