ISLAMABAD: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has announced that the Federal Government is actively collaborating with all provinces to address issues related to child development and nutrition.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister made these remarks during a ceremony in Islamabad, centered on a multi-sectoral dialogue aimed at accelerating nutrition and early childhood development in Pakistan. He highlighted the government’s responsibility to implement effective measures for improving maternal and child health, underscoring the importance of prioritizing mothers and children in development planning.
Minister Iqbal also stressed the significance of focusing on early schooling and the quality of early childhood development, advocating for the recruitment of trained teachers to support education in the formative years.
