Captain Shaheen Urges Commitment to Public Service at Independence Day Event


Islamabad: Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, has called on the organization’s employees to fulfill their duties with professionalism and dedication, underscoring the importance of serving the country’s vulnerable citizens. He made these remarks during a special Independence Day ceremony at the PBM headquarters in Islamabad, attended by employees from the head office and connected online with staff from provincial and regional offices.



According to Press Information Department, Senator Captain Butt paid tribute to those whose sacrifices led to Pakistan’s creation, emphasizing that a prosperous future relies on national unity, a resilient economy, scientific and technological capability, and a strong defense force. He highlighted the professional capabilities of Pakistan’s armed forces, particularly their recent recognition during Marka-e-Haq, as a testament to the nation’s standing as a sovereign state.



Senator Captain Butt also noted Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, citing its role in the U.S.-Iran dispute resolution and the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement as significant achievements. He stressed these accomplishments remind Pakistanis of the responsibilities that come with independence.



The Managing Director congratulated recently promoted employees and pledged to address their grievances. He directed staff to prioritize the welfare of underprivileged Pakistanis, advocating for hard work, integrity, and compassion in their roles. The event concluded with an Independence Day cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing a renewed pledge of service to the nation.
