Islamabad: The Minister of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, Dzenis Maroz, met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad, engaging in discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral ties between Belarus and Pakistan.
According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Sharif extended greetings to the Belarusian Minister and conveyed best wishes to President Alexander Lukashenko, recalling past visits that have strengthened relations. The meeting followed the 9th Session of the Joint Ministerial Commission in Islamabad, where both sides reviewed cooperation in trade, industry, agriculture, banking, labor, transport, and energy sectors. The outcomes of the session are expected to bring tangible benefits and consolidate the partnership between the two countries.
Minister Maroz expressed gratitude for the welcome received and shared progress made during the Joint Ministerial Commission meeting. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral coordination and ensuring the implementation of agreed cooperative measures across various sectors.
