Islamabad: Following directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has initiated measures to enhance security in the federal capital.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted visits to several police pickets and duty points, where he interacted with police officers and reviewed procedures. He instructed officers to enhance the effectiveness of their checks to ensure the safety of citizens and their property. Officers were advised to remain vigilant, thoroughly check suspicious individuals and vehicles, and report any questionable activities to senior officials promptly.
SSP Operations also highlighted the importance of courteous interactions with the public to build trust between police and citizens. The protection of citizens remains a priority, with security measures being implemented to achieve this goal. Residents are encouraged to cooperate with law enforcement and report any suspicious behavior to local authorities or via the police helpline “Pucar-15”.
