Speedy and Affordable Justice for Government Employees is Government Focus, Says Law Minister

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar has affirmed that delivering speedy and affordable justice to government employees is a priority for the government. He highlighted the necessity to bolster the Federal Service Tribunal’s performance and capacity to ensure timely and transparent resolution of pending appeals.

According to Press Information Department, Senator Tarar shared these insights during a meeting with Chairman Federal Service Tribunal Rana Asadullah Khan. The meeting addressed various aspects of the Tribunal’s functioning, including its administrative structure, service-related issues affecting government employees, and the efficient resolution of outstanding appeals.

Senator Tarar assured the Chairman of the Ministry’s commitment to providing the necessary administrative and financial resources to enhance the Tribunal’s effectiveness. Discussions also included plans to improve infrastructure, expand the e-courts system, and strengthen the digital appeal management system for better case monitoring and expedited resolutions.

Rana Asadullah Khan expressed gratitude for the Ministry’s support and reiterated his dedication to upholding constitutional and legal principles while ensuring decisions are made based on merit. He also emphasized his commitment to enhancing the digital appeal management system to accelerate case processing and improve the Tribunal’s overall performance.

The meeting highlighted the critical need for strong institutional coordination to foster transparency, prompt decision-making, and effective access to justice for government employees’ service-related issues.
