Security Forces Eliminate 29 Terrorists in Targeted Strikes on Pakistan-Afghanistan Border


Islamabad: Security forces have successfully eliminated 29 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation and subsequent precision strikes targeting terrorist camps and safe havens in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border region. The operation was initiated in response to a series of militant attacks across the country, according to Information Minister Attaullah Tarar.



According to Radio Pakistan, the operation began with an intelligence-based ground offensive against a terrorist group near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Bajaur District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The operation resulted in the deaths of high-value Kharji Commander Khan Farosh, also known as Zabal, and three terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group Jamaat ul Ahrar. Several other terrorists were injured during the engagement.



The operation, known as Ghazb Lil Haq, continued with precise targeting of terrorist camps and hideouts belonging to Jamaat ul Ahrar and Fitna al khwarij on the night of June 28th and 29th. Three targets in Paktia, Paktika, and Kunar were destroyed during the precision strikes, resulting in the deaths of 25 terrorists. Additionally, large quantities of weapons and ammunition stored at these sites were destroyed.



Information Minister Tarar emphasized that while Pakistan remains committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region, it will not compromise on the safety and security of its citizens.
