IGP Islamabad Holds Open Court for Direct Citizen Engagement

Islamabad: In a recent initiative to ensure swift justice and efficient resolution of public grievances, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, conducted an open court session at the Central Police Office. The event allowed citizens to directly voice their concerns and complaints, with the IGP issuing immediate directives for their resolution.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court session featured a range of issues presented by citizens, which IGP Rizvi addressed by instructing relevant officers to handle all complaints transparently and within a specified timeframe. The IGP emphasized that the primary goal of these open courts is to facilitate direct communication between the public and police leadership, thereby addressing issues without delay.

IGP Rizvi reiterated that maintaining public trust is crucial for the police force and highlighted the importance of respectful and professional interactions between officers and citizens. He warned that any negligence or delay in addressing public complaints would not be tolerated. Additionally, he urged the public to report any criminal or suspicious activities to the police promptly, ensuring that the police can take swift legal action.

The open court initiative is part of a broader commitment by the Islamabad Police to promote citizen-friendly policing and transparent accountability while utilizing all available resources to safeguard citizen lives and property.
