President Zardari Calls for Continued Strength and Responsibility on Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari extended his greetings to Pakistanis worldwide on the country’s 79th Independence Day, emphasizing the importance of remembering past sacrifices while looking towards future responsibilities. He highlighted the need for continued growth, security, and prosperity as a collective national duty.



According to Press Information Department, President Zardari acknowledged the strength demonstrated by Pakistan in recent events, affirming the nation’s commitment to peace and its capability to defend sovereignty. He paid tribute to the sacrifices of the Armed Forces and law enforcement, underscoring the importance of preventing conflict and serving national interests. Zardari also highlighted Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in regional dialogue and de-escalation, promoting peace and stability as fundamental to national security.



The president emphasized the need to focus on economic growth, education, and institutional reforms to ensure development benefits reach all communities.
