Tokyo: Pakistan’s embassies in Tokyo and Paris commemorated the country’s Independence Day with flag-hoisting ceremonies, drawing attendance from the Pakistani community and supporters, as announced in a recent press release.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Tokyo ceremony featured Ambassador Abdul Hameed raising the national flag to the national anthem. Messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister were read aloud at the event.
In Paris, Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch led the flag-hoisting ceremony and welcomed attendees, including many children from the Pakistani community. She inaugurated a historic photo exhibition that displayed archival photographs and records celebrating the life and legacy of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
