New York: Pakistan has reiterated its enduring commitment to multilateralism, as expressed by its Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, during an event hosted by the Pakistan UN Club at the UN Headquarters in New York. The occasion was organized in connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Ahmad emphasized Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional and international peace and stability. He cited the country’s efforts in facilitating dialogue during the recent US-Iran crisis as an example of its active engagement in global diplomacy. Ahmad also highlighted Pakistan’s contributions to the United Nations Security Council, particularly in advancing initiatives aimed at the peaceful settlement of disputes.
