Sialkot: Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif announced that the first phase of the Kharian-Islamabad Motorway project is anticipated to reach completion next year.
According to Radio Pakistan, Asif shared these remarks during the inaugural ceremony of a hospital in Sialkot. He expressed optimism about the timely completion of the motorway project, which carries an estimated cost of 205 billion rupees. Asif indicated that the project would provide significant benefits to the residents of the city and its surrounding regions.
The minister also revealed that the government plans to lay the foundation stone for a cardiac hospital in Sialkot, in addition to a 500-bed hospital, in the near future.
