RIYADH: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reached an agreement to expand their bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. The accord was achieved during a meeting in Riyadh, where Pakistan’s Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Minister for Power Sardar Owais Ahmed Leghari met with Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan.
According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions centered on enhancing the economic partnership between the two nations, with a specific focus on energy collaboration. Both parties agreed to maintain ongoing consultations and close coordination on mutual interests to advance cooperation in key sectors.
The ministers expressed satisfaction with the growing partnership and reiterated their commitment to deepening economic and energy ties through sustained engagement and close bilateral coordination.
