Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has given the green light for the award of the Nishan-e-Khidmat to Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League. The award is a recognition of his contributions to interfaith harmony and fostering cooperation among the Muslim Ummah.
According to Radio Pakistan, the President also sanctioned an honorary doctorate in Islamic Studies and International Relations for Dr. Al-Issa. This honor will be conferred by the National University of Modern Languages, acknowledging his work in promoting understanding and collaboration on an international scale.
