ISLAMABAD: Director General Safe City and Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joiya conducted a review of the Capital Patrol Unit construction project at Shalimar Police Station, evaluating the progress alongside Chief Traffic Officer Kainat Azhar.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, during the visit, Joiya examined the government-issued equipment and directed officials to maintain equipment in a ready and operational state. He stressed the importance of safeguarding assets and maintaining accurate inventory records. Instructions were also given to the Moharrir of the unit regarding duty allocation and record maintenance to enhance the effectiveness of patrols and emergency responses.
Joiya emphasized the role of the Capital Patrol Unit in safeguarding citizens and maintaining traffic flow, urging that construction be completed promptly to provide improved police services. He also highlighted the efforts of Islamabad Police in ensuring public safety and encouraged citizens to report emergencies through the Pukar-15 helpline or One Info App.
