Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, Checking Over 512 Individuals in Citywide Sweep

ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to enhance security and curb criminal activity, the Islamabad Police have conducted extensive search and combing operations across the federal capital, resulting in thorough checks of over 512 individuals. These operations are a direct result of special directives issued by Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were executed under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, with oversight by respective zonal SPs. The comprehensive sweep included checks on 262 households, 43 hotels, 105 shops, 251 motorcycles, and 126 vehicles. As a result, 13 suspicious individuals and 25 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further verification.

SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized the primary goal of these operations is to tighten security and clamp down on criminal elements in the city. The police aim to continue these indiscriminate actions against various criminal activities, including land grabbing and drug dealing, throughout the district.
