Pakistan and Kuwait to Explore New Partnership Opportunities

Islamabad: Pakistan and Kuwait have agreed to explore new avenues for partnership, focusing on energy cooperation and strategic projects. This development came after a meeting between Pakistan’s Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Abdul-Rahman Almutairi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting in Islamabad highlighted potential collaborations, including joint projects in the refining sector and the establishment of strategic storage facilities in Pakistan by Kuwait. During the discussions, Malik expressed gratitude to the Kuwaiti government for facilitating the arrival of the ship ‘Khairpur,’ which delivered 45,000 tons of diesel and 10,000 tons of jet fuel to Pakistan. This delivery was made possible through special arrangements following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
