Pakistan and Hong Kong Customs Establish Cooperation Framework


Islamabad: Pakistan Customs and Hong Kong Customs have formalized a cooperative arrangement aimed at strengthening customs cooperation and mutual administrative assistance. The agreement was signed during a virtual ceremony at the Federal Board of Revenue in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Cooperative Arrangement provides a structured framework for the two customs administrations to enhance their collaboration. The agreement includes provisions for the exchange of information and intelligence, surveillance of suspected consignments and individuals, and mutual assistance in enforcing customs laws.



The arrangement is set to facilitate the enforcement of respective customs regulations, thereby contributing to the prevention of customs offenses and enhancing the efficiency of customs operations between Pakistan and Hong Kong.
