Islamabad Police Implements Comprehensive Security Measures for Bari Imam Urs


ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Islamabad Police has undertaken extensive security measures to ensure the safety of attendees at the Bari Imam Urs. According to Islamabad Capital Police, these measures include visits by SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza to various security checkpoints and interactions with officers stationed at multiple locations.



Raza emphasized the critical nature of the officers’ roles in maintaining a secure environment during the religious event. He instructed the officers to stay vigilant and monitor for any suspicious behavior or potential security threats. Officers were also advised to perform their duties with diligence and maintain a polite demeanor towards visitors. Additionally, the Third Avenue checkpoint will remain operational to facilitate attendee movement.



SSP Operations reaffirmed the commitment of Islamabad Police to effective security management, employing all resources available to ensure public safety during the event. The public has been encouraged to cooperate with security personnel and report any suspicious activities through the Pucar-15 emergency helpline.
