Islamabad Police Enacts Security Protocols for Bari Imam Urs


Islamabad: In preparation for the Bari Imam Urs, the Islamabad Police has rolled out extensive security protocols under the guidance of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The measures aim to safeguard attendees at the religious event.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted visits to several security checkpoints, engaging with officers stationed across various locations. He underscored the critical nature of their responsibilities in maintaining a secure environment for the Urs event. Officers have been instructed to stay alert and monitor for any suspicious activity or potential threats.



SSP Operations emphasized the necessity for officers to perform their roles with diligence, maintaining a helpful demeanor towards visitors. The Third Avenue checkpoint has been ordered to remain open to ensure smooth traffic flow. The Islamabad Police is committed to deploying all necessary resources for effective security arrangements during the Urs. Public cooperation is encouraged, and any suspicious activities should be reported via the Pucar-15 emergency helpline.
