IGP Islamabad Prioritizes Citizen-Friendly Policing and Service Improvement


Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has underscored the importance of citizen-friendly policing and enhanced police services as top priorities during a high-level meeting with senior police officers.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting involved discussions on the timely and effective delivery of police services, improved police response mechanisms, and the strengthening of the public service system. Attendees included SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza, SSP Investigation Suleman Zafar, and DSP CIA. The agenda covered a review of the law and order situation, crime prevention measures, ongoing operations against criminal elements, and enhancements in investigation procedures and police facilities.



IGP Rizvi highlighted the protection of citizens’ lives and property as a primary focus, calling for a more effective and integrated policing system. He stressed that public confidence could be bolstered through the immediate resolution of citizens’ complaints, improved response times, and quality police services. He also instructed the adoption of modern crime prevention strategies and the enhancement of police presence in the field.



The IGP reaffirmed the commitment of Islamabad Police to utilize all resources to ensure a safe environment and the best possible facilities for citizens, aligning with their vision of public service.
