Islamabad: After dedicating over four decades to the Islamabad Police, Inspector Muhammad Ishaq was honored at a farewell ceremony organized at the Capital Police College (CPC), Islamabad. According to Islamabad Capital Police, the event saw Director Special Initiatives Shams-ul-Haq Durrani in attendance as the Chief Guest, accompanied by other police officers, to pay tribute to Inspector Ishaq’s long-standing service.
During the ceremony, Director Durrani highlighted the inevitability of retirement in public service, remarking on the importance of leaving a legacy characterized by honorable deeds and a commendable reputation. He emphasized the department’s responsibility towards retired officers like Ishaq, who have devoted significant portions of their lives to public service, and assured continued support for any personal or official issues they may encounter post-retirement.
In his address, Director Durrani called on all officers to strive for excellence in serving the public, aiming to earn the pleasure of a higher power through their actions. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a bouquet and an honorary police shield to Inspector Muhammad Ishaq, alongside best wishes for his future endeavors.
