Islamabad: In a proactive move to address grievances within the police force, DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq convened an orderly room to discuss and resolve both personal and departmental issues faced by officers. The initiative follows directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, highlighting a commitment to prioritize officer welfare.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, officers from the Security Division attended the meeting where they aired their concerns. The DIG Security responded by instructing the officers to revisit inquiries into significant matters and emphasized the immediate resolution of other issues. He announced several initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of police officers, such as enhanced housing options, better medical facilities, and raising education standards.
During the meeting, DIG Farooq assured officers of his support, encouraging open communication and collaboration for the community’s benefit. He reiterated that the orderly room’s objective is to address the welfare and concerns of police officers effectively and promptly.
