IGP Islamabad Evaluates Police Operations and Public Service Initiatives

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted a comprehensive review of the Islamabad Police’s administrative, security, and welfare matters in a meeting attended by top police officials. The meeting focused on examining current projects and formulating future strategies to enhance policing services.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting saw participation from senior officials including DIG Headquarters Malik Jameel Zafar, DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq, and AIG Logistics Abdul Haq Umrani, among others. Discussions covered administrative affairs, security arrangements, logistics, police welfare, and public facilitation measures. IGP Rizvi instructed officers to maintain professional standards, transparency, and timely implementation across all initiatives, aiming to provide citizens with effective and high-quality services while fostering public trust.

Following the meeting, IGP Rizvi visited Aabpara Police Station, accompanied by several senior officers. He emphasized transforming police stations into modern service centers that prioritize citizen-friendly environments. He assessed ongoing work under the Special Initiatives Police Stations (SIPS) protocol, calling for improvements in quality and efficiency.

Additionally, IGP Rizvi inspected the Police Khidmat Markaz H-11, directing further enhancements in facilities and service delivery to ensure a streamlined and effective experience for citizens.
