Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza conducted an on-site review of security arrangements at cattle markets, focusing on ensuring safety for traders and buyers. Accompanied by zonal SPs, Raza met with police officers and officials stationed at these locations to assess the measures being implemented.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the SSP emphasized that only approved cattle markets would be permitted to operate. He instructed all officers to enforce legal actions against unauthorized markets and sale points. Patrolling units, including the Dolphin Squad and Police Response Unit, are actively monitoring the markets to deter fraud, pickpocketing, and other criminal activities.
Raza reiterated the commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property while maintaining law and order in the capital. He urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement and report any suspicious activities to local police stations or the emergency helpline “Pukar-15.”
