Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petroleum products, effective for one week starting today. The decision sees a decrease of five rupees per litre for both high-speed diesel and petrol, aiming to alleviate some of the financial burdens on consumers.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Energy’s press release details that the price of high-speed diesel is now set at 409.58 rupees per litre, while petrol is priced at 409.78 rupees per litre. The adjustment in fuel prices comes as part of ongoing efforts to manage economic challenges and provide relief to the public.
