ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi convened a series of meetings to assess the operational and administrative functions of the Islamabad Police. These discussions, held at the Central Police Office, included high-ranking officials such as Deputy Inspector General of Police Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq and Deputy Inspector General of Police Law and Order Muhammad Ateeq Tahir, among other senior officers.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meetings focused on evaluating the force’s overall performance, human resources, logistics, the Safe City system, and institutional capacity. Discussions centered around strategies to enhance the effectiveness and organization of the policing system, boost professional capabilities, and improve the quality of services delivered to the public.

In light of the upcoming Independence Day, the meetings also addressed security and traffic arrangements, public facilitation measures, and steps to ensure a safe environment in the federal capital. IGP Rizvi instructed officers to utilize all available resources to optimize security, traffic management, and service delivery.

IGP Rizvi stressed the importance of continuously improving the operational capacity of the force and aligning policing strategies with modern needs. He underscored the necessity of maintaining timely and quality police services for citizens.

Following the meetings, IGP Rizvi inspected the ongoing upgrades at the Central Police Office, urging officers to ensure the timely completion of construction projects according to established standards. He reiterated his commitment to advancing initiatives that aim to make the Islamabad Police more effective, modern, and citizen-friendly.
