Lahore: Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, convened a meeting with police personnel and their families at the Central Police Office, where he listened to their grievances and directed immediate relief measures.

According to Punjab Police, the meeting resulted in several directives aimed at addressing individual concerns. The son of the late Driver Constable Muhammad Afzal submitted an application regarding recruitment, prompting IG Punjab to instruct the Additional IG Punjab to consider the matter. Constable Zeeshan Javeed’s transfer request led to DIG Establishment-II being tasked with providing relief. For retired Sub-Inspector Muhammad Islam’s legal proceedings, the DPO Nankana Sahib was directed to take necessary action. The widow of the late Constable Muhammad Amin applied for outstanding dues, resulting in the Additional IG Punjab being instructed to consider the case. Sub-Inspector Kashif Faraz’s promotion application was addressed with directives to DIG Establishment-I for relief. Additional applications related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare measures were also reviewed by IG Punjab, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the concerns presented.
