Karachi: Deputy Mayor Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad emphasized the importance of understanding the value of freedom and the national responsibility of contributing to the country’s development during an Independence Day ceremony organized by the Pakistan Peoples Labour Bureau Karachi Division.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Murad addressed attendees at the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Head Office, highlighting the critical role of the working class in Pakistan’s economy and development. He stressed the need for continued efforts to address workers’ issues and ensure their welfare. The event saw the participation of prominent figures including Pakistan Peoples Labour Bureau Karachi Division President Aslam Samoon and Pakistan Peoples Party District South President Javed Nagori, alongside elected representatives and community members.

Murad further conveyed that Independence Day serves as a reminder of unity and national spirit, urging all societal segments to actively contribute to Pakistan’s stability and growth. The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the country’s security and prosperity.
