Flag Hoisting Ceremony Highlights Inclusion at Pakistan’s Supreme Court


Islamabad: A flag-hoisting ceremony at the Supreme Court of Pakistan marked the 79th Independence Day, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to equality and religious harmony. The event was attended by the Chief Justice, judges, court staff, and their families.



According to Press Information Department, children from minority communities, alongside religious leaders from various faiths, participated in the ceremony. The national flag was hoisted by the Chief Justice, judges, and representatives from Hindu, Christian, and Muslim communities. The Police Band played the national anthem, reinforcing a sense of national unity.



The ceremony highlighted Pakistan’s dedication to inclusivity and the message that the nation belongs to all its citizens. The Chief Justice engaged with the children, offering them insights into the Supreme Court’s operations, and joined them in cutting an Independence Day cake, symbolizing national unity.



In his Independence Day message, the Chief Justice congratulated the people of Pakistan and the legal community, honoring the sacrifices made for independence. He stressed the ongoing responsibility of upholding constitutional values and strengthening public confidence in state institutions.
