Islamabad, In a significant move towards economic collaboration, the Federal Cabinet of Pakistan has approved seven memorandums of understanding (MOUs) for investment in various sectors between Pakistan and Kuwait. The agreements were confirmed during a cabinet meeting chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar in Islamabad.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting reported that these MOUs, facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council, mark a substantial investment from Kuwait, worth ten billion dollars, in sectors including water reservoir expansion, mining, coastal mangroves protection, and projects in IT and food security. The Cabinet lauded the Special Investment Council and relevant ministries for their efforts. Prime Minister Kakar directed authorities to ensure cooperation with provinces for the swift and transparent implementation of these federally signed projects.
