Islamabad, Pakistan has achieved a notable position in the international community by being elected as the Vice Chair of the UNESCO Executive Board for the term 2023-25, representing the Asia Pacific Group.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Pakistan’s election with overwhelming support reflects its commitment to cooperative multilateralism. The country looks forward to collaborating with all board members to promote common objectives and defend the shared values and principles of UNESCO.
