Islamabad: An in-house ceremony was held at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Headquarters in Islamabad to honor officers nominated for prestigious national civil awards in recognition of their contributions to public service and literature.
According to Press Information Department, the event was attended by FBR Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial, who congratulated the nominees and praised their dedication to public service. He highlighted the government’s emphasis on FBR’s performance and reform, encouraging officers to fulfill their duties with integrity. Langrial noted that the awards symbolize the collective efforts of all FBR staff working for the nation’s progress.
The Chairman also stressed the ongoing nature of the FBR reform process, urging officers to maintain their commitment and momentum in their roles. Among those nominated for awards were Chairman Langrial for Hilal-i-Imtiaz, along with several others for Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Tamgha-i-Imtiaz. Additionally, Muhammad Muti-Ur-Rehman, known as Rehman Faris, was recognized with the Pride of Performance in literature.
The ceremony served to celebrate the officers’ achievements and reinforce FBR’s dedication to institutional excellence and public service.
