Continued Repatriation of Illegal Afghan Nationals


Islamabad, The ongoing repatriation of illegal foreign nationals, including Afghans, is progressing, with thousands returning to Afghanistan daily through the Chaman and Torkham borders. Many of the returnees have expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its hospitality and generosity during their stay.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Pakistan has taken measures to ensure a dignified return for Afghans, including the establishment of transit camps equipped with essential facilities in various districts for temporary accommodation.



Yesterday, 2,668 illegal Afghan nationals were repatriated, bringing the total number of Afghans who have returned to their homeland to 245,833. These efforts are part of Pakistan’s commitment to managing its borders effectively and humanely, ensuring the safe and respectful return of Afghan nationals to their country.
