Rawalpindi: The Chief of Defense Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, emphasized the enduring contributions of Pakistan Army veterans in a reception held in Rawalpindi on Independence Day.
According to Radio Pakistan, the reception, hosted by both the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief of Defense Forces, honored the service of retired officers and soldiers who gathered in large numbers for the event. Field Marshal Munir acknowledged the pivotal role these veterans have played in bolstering national resilience and commended their lifelong dedication to the country’s defense.
The Chief highlighted the importance of the veterans’ experience and guidance, describing them as invaluable assets for navigating the complexities of the current security landscape. During the event, the veterans expressed their trust in the leadership of the Pakistan Army and pledged their ongoing support to address emerging security challenges.
