ABU DHABI: On the occasion of Pakistan’s 80th Independence Day, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates extended warm congratulations to the Pakistani community residing in the UAE. The day marks the realization of the aspirations and sacrifices made by the nation’s forefathers, who, under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, secured a sovereign homeland.
According to Press Information Department, the Ambassador highlighted the enduring influence of Jinnah’s principles of Unity, Faith, and Discipline, which continue to guide Pakistan’s national journey. In the face of regional challenges, Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy remains steadfast, with a focus on regional stability.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude towards the UAE’s leadership and its people for their ongoing friendship and hospitality towards the Pakistani community, which numbers over 2.2 million. He emphasized the strong bilateral relationship between Pakistan and the UAE, highlighting cooperation across various sectors including political, economic, and cultural domains. The Pakistani community in the UAE was praised for their contributions to the UAE’s development and their role in enhancing Pakistan’s image abroad. The Ambassador encouraged them to uphold the values and laws of their host country while continuing to support Pakistan’s progress.
