Islamabad: Superintendent of Police (SP) City Zone Dr. Ayaz Hussain conducted a thorough inspection of the routes designated for the 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal procession, focusing on security measures and traffic management in preparation for Eid Milad-un-Nabi. The inspection was aimed at ensuring the safety of participants and maintaining public order during the religious event.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, SP City Zone was accompanied by SDPO Secretariat and AC City during the inspection. The team reviewed the entry and exit points, security arrangements, and traffic flow along the procession routes. Briefings were provided by police officers and personnel at various locations, after which SP Hussain issued directives to enhance security measures.
SP Hussain emphasized the need for effective security arrangements, instructing officers and personnel to remain fully alert and committed to their duties. He stressed the importance of safeguarding participants and citizens, urging continuous monitoring of the routes and surrounding areas to detect any suspicious activities. He highlighted the priority of ensuring a safe environment for citizens during Eid Milad-un-Nabi, pledging the use of all available resources for comprehensive security.
