Islamabad: Deputy Inspector General of Police Islamabad Ali Waseem conducted an open court at his office, where numerous citizens gathered to voice their complaints and concerns. In a direct approach to community policing, Waseem provided on-the-spot directions to officers for immediate resolution of the issues raised.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the initiative reflects the commitment of Islamabad Police towards prioritizing the swift and impartial handling of citizens’ complaints. The open court allows residents to visit daily and present their grievances without needing referrals or recommendations.
In a related development, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza led a meeting with SP City Zone Muhammad Khurram Ashraf, SP Saddar Zone Kazim Naqvi, and other senior officers. The meeting focused on crime prevention, ongoing operations against criminal elements, effective patrolling, and maintaining law and order in the city.
SSP Operations emphasized the need for robust measures to curb criminal activities and safeguard the lives and property of citizens. He urged officers to enhance their efforts against criminal elements and improve the patrolling system to ensure a secure environment throughout Islamabad.
