Prime Minister and President Discuss Political and Security Challenges in Islamabad


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad to address the country’s political and security issues. The meeting was attended by several key political figures and ministers, emphasizing the significance of the discussions.



According to Radio Pakistan, the prime minister was joined by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Federal Minister Ahad Cheema. Other notable attendees included Senator Sherry Rehman, Syed Naveed Qamar, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, and Dr. Asim Hussain.



The meeting concluded with a decision to convene separate sessions of the Senate and National Assembly on Tuesday to further deliberate on the ongoing political and security matters.
