HUNZA: Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Chief Whip Senate and Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Finance, participated as the chief guest in the Independence Day celebrations at Government Girls Degree College Karimabad, Hunza. The event featured a flag-hoisting ceremony and speeches focused on national pride and educational development.
According to Senate of Pakistan, the ceremony began with the national flag being raised, signifying the patriotic spirit of the occasion.
