ISLAMABAD: A rescue operation following a fire at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad has been completed, according to Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry. The operation, which was closely monitored by the Interior Minister, ensured the safety of nineteen individuals, including seven children.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chaudhry addressed media personnel at the hospital, confirming that the rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene within six minutes of receiving the alert. The swift response played a crucial role in the successful evacuation of those affected by the fire. Furthermore, Chaudhry noted that the bodies of newborn babies, who were victims of the incident, have been identified and returned to their grieving families.
