Lahore: An important meeting led by Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique was convened to assess the progress of several development projects in Constituency PP-153. These projects include the Harbanspura to Phatak Sadar Cantt trunk sewerage system, estimated at Rs 4.5 billion, and the installation of tube wells in Amna Park of UC-148, valued at Rs 1.1 billion, along with street repairs, sewerage, and clean water supply initiatives.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting was attended by various officials, including Deputy Directors of the Lahore Development Authority, Aqeel Anwar and Samiullah, as well as representatives from WASA, MCL, and NESPAK. During the meeting, it was reported that hundreds of streets have been repaired in PP-153, with work ongoing on multiple development schemes aimed at enhancing facilities for millions of residents in the area.
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique reiterated the Punjab government’s commitment to providing basic amenities to the public, in line with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision. He emphasized that the development and prosperity of the people will continue unabated and highlighted the importance of maintaining the quality of these projects. Rafique further directed that all ongoing development projects in PP-153 should be completed on schedule.
