Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Pledges to Eliminate Terrorism in Pakistan


Islamabad, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated the government’s determination to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan, emphasizing the armed forces’ steadfast resolve in this critical national endeavor. This commitment comes in the wake of a terrorist attack on an Army convoy in Dera Ismail Khan, which tragically resulted in the loss of two servicemen.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s statement conveyed a strong condemnation of the attack, highlighting the nation’s collective grief and extending heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyred personnel. Prime Minister Sharif affirmed that the fight against terrorism would persist relentlessly until its complete elimination, reflecting a robust national stance against such threats to the country’s peace and stability.



Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also echoed the sentiments of condemnation and sorrow over the attack, acknowledging the ultimate sacrifice made by the fallen soldiers for the nation’s security.
