Rawalpindi, In a significant show of bilateral solidarity and friendship, the Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, participated in Pakistan’s Armed Forces Day celebrations and held a notable meeting with the Army Chief, General Syed Asim Munir. The Saudi Minister’s presence underscored the deep-rooted ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, especially in defense cooperation.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was the special guest of honor at the Joint Pakistan Armed Forces Day Parade, where he was welcomed by Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir. The visit highlighted the strategic partnership between the two nations, with discussions on mutual interests, bilateral relations enhancement, and increased cooperation in various fields, particularly defense.

The Saudi Defense Minister emphasized the historical and brotherly relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, reaffirming both countries’ status as well-wishers to each other.
