ISLAMABAD: DG Safe City/DIG Traffic Muhammad Haroon Joya convened a meeting to discuss the progress of the Safe City Islamabad project expansion. According to Islamabad Capital Police, technical teams from Safe City and ONPL participated in the discussions.
The meeting focused on the next phase of the expansion, including technical upgrades, network integration, and system performance improvements. Practical measures were agreed upon, based on field data and technical analysis, to enhance the project’s effectiveness and sustainability.
Muhammad Haroon Joya emphasized that the expansion aims to extend the city-wide surveillance system using modern technology to better protect citizens and their property. He instructed the teams to adhere to the timeline and maintain high standards. The project’s completion is expected to significantly enhance crime prevention, traffic management, and emergency response in the federal capital.
