Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his congratulations to Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as to the German people on the Day of German Unity. In his message, President Zardari emphasized the importance of Germany as a trusted partner of Pakistan.

According to Press Information Department, President Zardari highlighted the expanding bilateral relations between Pakistan and Germany, noting their cooperation across political, economic, energy, cultural, educational, scientific, and technological fields. He also recognized Germany’s significant role within the European Union and its contributions to strengthening relations between Pakistan and the EU.

President Zardari expressed his hope to work closely with President Steinmeier to further enhance the friendship and mutual respect between the two nations, aiming to benefit the peoples of both countries.
