Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Chairs Meeting on Development Projects in Azad Jammu and Kashmir


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting aimed at advancing the development agenda for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). The session focused on evaluating ongoing development projects, with particular attention to road refurbishment and socio-economic initiatives.



According to Press Information Department, the meeting emphasized the importance of completing development projects in a timely manner and ensuring the efficient use of financial resources. These efforts align with the directives of the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the aspirations of the residents of AJK. The discussions also covered measures to enhance administrative coordination for better execution of these projects.



The meeting saw the participation of high-level officials, including SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretaries of Finance and Kashmir Affairs, Special Secretary Finance, Chief Secretary AJK, Additional Chief Secretary (Development) AJK, and the Joint Chief Economist of the Planning and Development Division.
