PM Shehbaz Sharif Oversees Repatriation of Pakistanis from Somalia


KARACHI: On the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, urgent steps have been implemented for the repatriation of injured Pakistani nationals and the remains of those who died in Somalia. Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET-694 has transported four injured individuals, Usman Ghani, Aqeel Khan, Amin bin Shams, and Yasir Khan, back to Karachi.



According to Radio Pakistan, the flight is also carrying the remains of three deceased Pakistani nationals, Rafiullah Khan, Syed Kashif Umar, and Mahmood Ahmad Ansari. The flight is expected to arrive at Karachi Airport today at 4:40 p.m. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Atif Aziz and Ambassador to Djibouti Aqsa Nawaz were present at Addis Ababa Airport to oversee the departure of the injured and the repatriation of the deceased.



Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has personally and continuously monitored the entire repatriation process.
