Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Highlights Teachers’ Role in Shaping Society


Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, emphasized the pivotal role that teachers play in building an educated and responsible society. He highlighted the importance of recognizing and respecting teachers’ contributions to national development. These remarks were made in observance of World Teachers’ Day, which is celebrated globally on October 5.



According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq underscored the need for quality education as a cornerstone for the nation’s future. He pointed out that teachers must be supported with modern teaching tools, opportunities for professional development, and a conducive teaching environment. Sadiq also reiterated Parliament’s commitment to safeguarding teachers’ rights and enhancing educational opportunities for youth.



Sadiq also emphasized the necessity of a robust education system to foster a knowledgeable and capable workforce, which is crucial for the country’s economic and social advancement. He advocated for effective measures to address challenges faced by educators and to bolster their professional growth.



Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah echoed these sentiments, acknowledging the vital role teachers play in nurturing the intellectual and moral fabric of society.
