Pakistan and UK Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Relations


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the United Kingdom have agreed to continue enhancing their bilateral relations, following a meeting between British High Commissioner Jane Marriott and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, in Islamabad on Saturday.



According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions during the meeting were centered on the ongoing relations between the two nations. Both parties acknowledged the current positive momentum in their bilateral ties and deliberated on future engagements to further deepen this cooperation.



In addition to bilateral matters, the evolving regional situation was a key topic of conversation. Senator Ishaq Dar emphasized the necessity of easing regional tensions and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as the sole feasible avenues for progress.
